Hi this is Hridoy…i m recently admitted in a ged course preparation centre…i want to prepare myself through gedforfree web…but everytime i try to do registration it showing errors on address..

I just registered for the “GED for Free” course and had no trouble. It looks like a legitimate site that manages to exist because it carries a lot of ads. Just ignore the ads and I think you will be happy with it. It was probably having start-up problems, but looks okay now.

this site is a trick it said u can get ur ged online for free i can go to my class if i wanted that but i have no time with me taking care of my kid to go so i need to find an online coarse i can take instead of going to thte school ….
Nikole, you CANNOT get a GED online. Its against the law. You have to take the test in person at a testing site. Or else how would they know if you weren’t just cheating? You can take prep courses online though and just sign up to take the test somewhere.
I don’t think this site is legit! When you fill out the enrollment it doesn’t let you take the test like it says it will after filling out the form. I would like to know why? That’s just a waste of time if you ask me!

I have a diploma from the Belford High School Online, and I will be the first to tell you it is a fake, I can’t get into college or anything with it… No matter how good it sounds don’t do it, I lost $250 by doing it!!! No matter what you are told or read U CANNOT take the GED test online and expect it to be accredited… U have to take it in person… I wanted to go to school for my bachelor’s degree and now i have to get my GED first.
I have a “diploma” from Belford High School as well and am extremely disappointed with the organization. It is obviously a false institution because no colleges accept it’s accreditation status. Save yourselves the time and money ($250+), stay away from online tests that promise tangible results.
This is not a website that gives you a GED or a high school diploma, its a site that helps get you prepared to write your GED at your local state or provincial writing location….its free, and if you make an appointment with a writing location, and pass you have an actual GED.

i recently went to take my GED test and my neighbor told me he could get it for me cheaper cause his cousin works at the place that issues it. Well i went ahead and did it an d now my job cant find it at all so i think i got ripped off. If i dont get my GED quick i loose my job and i have a good job. Sherry, the quickest way to get you GED is to take the test at an actual testing facility. Check with your local community college; that is usually where the test is taken.
As for http://www.gedforfree.com, it is ONLY A PREPARATION COURSE site. I am using it to prepare get my own GED and I assure you it’s a good help so far.
My advice to everyone who is trying to get their GED online; stop trying. Almost, if not all the sites that say they can test you ONLINE and give you an official GED are complete scams.

well gedforfree is legit, it’s a simple ged course to help prepare u to take the actual ged test so far its helped me some what.. u cant not take test online u have to go to a actual ged testing center in ur area
I just read these reviews after signing up for and taking the assesment test at gedforfree.com.It’s free and working! Looks good to me so far. Although I did find a math error.Just getting started.
for some reason all the online free ged classes they are not free and some of them say that they will send an email immediately to an email address that i give then i wait about 15 to 30 minutes and the email is not sent or they will say do you wanna go to college and i’m just trying to get my ged
Wow I can’t believe all the comments about paying $250 dollars for an education. I only looked on here for a friend to help her and read all of these comments. Do you all think college is going to be free too. Let me tell ya I have my GED and I presently go to the University of Phoenix and it is not for free you have to repay all the loans just to go to college and if you don’t they will get it. So stop your whining and just pay for it. Trust me your possibilities will be better than they are now.

GED’s and High School Diplomas are not as easy to get nowadays in my opinion. They have added so much to the high school diploma education system that there are more credit requirements to get in order to receive a diploma. It makes me wonder how long old diplomas will be valid since they are so out of date lol. But then again that makes me wonder what “THEIR” purpose of a high school diploma really is. This I wonder because they put GED’s and HSD into 2 categories. If they are so particular about each one and what it is worth, then how can they continue to justify that GED’s and High School diplomas are so different when High School Diplomas become outdated with growing technology and historical discoveries that correct mistakes made in the text books? I conclude that they will never have a solid High School Diploma “text book list” that will be correct and finished.

Don’t trust your GED prep to free programs! They make money either from us tax payers (non-profits, colleges,etc.) or from advertising. The college professors who own GED Institute are dedicated to your success on the GED tests.
