How to Find an Online Charter School in Your Area

Several readers have asked how they can find a virtual charter school in their area. Because charter high schools are funded by the government, they provide courses for free. However, each state has its own requirements and it can sometimes be difficult to locate a school that will accept your teenager. For example, California charter schools are run through local school districts. If you don't live in a school district that has approved an online charter school, you may not be able to enroll your teen.
