The Wired Campus (off-site link) reports:
"The course is a graduate seminar on “Networked Knowledge,” and Mr. Parry had already planned to make recordings of class sessions available online. But he’s now offering to hold a weekly online discussion group by video chat for those tuning in remotely as well. “Think of it as a more formalized reading group,” he said."If all goes as planned, the professor will accept 5-10 graduate students not currently enrolled in the University of Texas at Dallas. They won't be able to receive university credit, but they will be given access to recorded lectures and video conferencing discussions at no cost.
