How to Choose an Online High School

Some parents are scrambling to choose an online high school before the new semester begins. If you're still trying to find the right school for your teen, take a look at these 12 questions to ask prospective online high schools.

Keep in mind that most programs begin at the start of September. Although online high schools often allow students to work at their own pace, enrolling them at the beginning of the traditional semester can help them keep up with their grade level.

I’m interested in enrolling the boy I mentor in an on-line high school, and was considering Pinnacle Virtual High School, but I’ve heard not such great things about it. What happens if I pay all the fees, and the school goes under? Can I get my money back, does the state of Arizona regulate these charter schools?
