New: Free Online French Classes
Monday October 20, 2008
I recently visited a French dorm at a local university. Basically, it's an apartment where language-learner students are only permitted to speak French. Their native language is totally forbidden and they meet regularly for required conversation over dinner with their dorm mates.
While immersion is obviously an easy way to pick up a language, it's not the most practical for many adult learners and online students. Learning a language out of a book can be frustrating, however. Most people need some form of interaction and actual conversation to to master the content. Fortunately, online language training has improved. The lessons mentioned in the new list of Free Online French Classes offer audio files, slide shows, and video instruction.
If you're interested in learning French, give a free online class a try. You'll be surprised at how much you can pick up during your spare time.
