Until now, earning a GED online was not an option. GED candidates have always been required to pass a traditional pen and paper exam. However, a new study is giving online GED tests a try.
Students that live in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, North Carolina, Michigan, Missouri, Texas and Virginia will have the opportunity to take a computer-based GED exam as a part of the pilot program this year. If all goes well, online GED testing may become available throughout the nation.
