If you're concerned about an online college's accreditation status, your best bet is to check with the United States Department of Education. Their database lists all colleges accredited by approved agencies. If a school isn't in there, it isn't accredited.
You can also take a look at these lists of known diploma mills. Keep in mind that diploma mills start quickly and can be difficult to track. Not every diploma mill will appear on every list.
