Online learning definitely opened up opportunities for me. It was so much more flexible than on campus study and allowed me to study while still working part-time and then full-time. It also saved a lot of time each day, an hour or more, that I normally would have spent travelling to university and back, not to mention travel costs. Having grown up on the internet, it wasn’t too hard to adapt to online study. However the lack of social interaction was a bit tougher to deal with and might have been an issue if I hadn’t got that through work.
