Students use software called TopClass to navigate the 7.5-week classes, all conducted in a virtual classroom. Students can "attend," do assignments and participate in discussion groups at their convenience, but the coursework must be completed within the assigned timeframe. The school touts its ability to guide students to an associate degree in less than the normally prescribed two years and a bachelor's in less than 16 months. Programs focus largely on some of the more employable endeavors in the business, tourism, law, technology and medical fields. Associate degrees can be obtained in accounting, business, criminal justice, human resources specialist, information technology, medical administrative assistant, paralegal studies, and others. A bachelor's degree is available in business adminstration/general management and criminal justice. Certificates are available in such timely endeavors as professional web design, professional IT security, and professional database administration for Oracle and SQL. The certificate programs require no specifically timed "attendance," but, again, candidates have 7.5 weeks to deliver on the requirements. The school allows for the transfer of up to 50% of  the credit hours needed for graduation, meaning that students can finish their degrees in a shorter time.

Bryant & Stratton College Online Admissions:

Required are either a high school diploma, a GED or, as the school says on its website, a demonstration of "the ability to benefit from a post-secondary education as defined in federal regulations." Students must submit their transcripts no more than 60 days before a semester is scheduled to begin. An entrance evaluation is also mandatory, unless a student already has an associate degree or higher, a score of 20 or more on the ACT, or a score of 956 or more (500 verbal, 456 math) on the readjusted SAT (after April 1995). Otherwise, a score of 840 or more is acceptable on an SAT taken before April 1995. Students are permitted to take classes at another accredited institution simultaneously and apply those credits toward Bryant & Stratton, as long as they follow guidelines. Eighty-three percent of applicants are admitted.
