Franklin has a full catalog of undergraduate majors in practical disciplines such as business and computers, plus a master's business track. Classes are offered from 15 weeks in duration down to a speedy three weeks. Some courses require online presence at an enforced time, but most of the work can be completed at any juncture before the deadline. Franklin University's virtual campus remains open at all hours. The school touts its average class size of 18 students in promising an "optimal learning environment." Franklin's online tuition ranks among the nation's lowest 10% for bachelor's programs, according to the school. Work experience in a chosen field is also part of the deal. Franklin's "standard" credit hour for undergraduate studies costs $280, but varies depending on the undergraduate major. Soldiers in the U.S. Army (GoArmyEd) pay $250, which is often completely subsidized.
