Herzing College Online Academics:

Herzing College Online has made a deep commitment to distance learning with nearly two-dozen undergraduate degrees and a select choice of master's degrees in business administration. Herzing College Online students should expect to log into their virtual campus four days a week to stay connected to assignments and lectures, and set aside eight to 10 hours a week to complete the work for each class. There are an average of 18 students per class, with a limit of 25. While some coursework includes one or two group projects, most homework is done individually. The usual load is one or two courses in an eight-week term. Students can work at their own pace, but must complete their work by the due date. Once students are enrolled for each class, books are automatically shipped. In promoting its master's programs, Herzing cites a Bureau of Labor statistics study that says workers with a graduate degree earn $400,000 more in a career over their lifetime than those without.

Herzing College Online Degrees and Programs:

Herzing presents a full menu of Bachelor of Science and associate degrees spread out among its schools of technology, business, health care, design and public safety. Some of the prominent degree pursuits include software engineering, computer science, graphic design, legal studies, homeland security and criminal justice. Diplomas are available for bookkeeping and payroll accounting, medical assisting, and more. The graduate school features a master's of business administration with an optional emphasis on either healthcare management, business management or technology.

Herzing College Online Admissions:

All applicants are subject to review by a committee on such intangibles as motivation. They should have a high school diploma or GED, plus a verified score on the school's entrance assessment. To qualify for graduate school, applicants will need either a 2.7 minimum GPA at the undergraduate level, a minimum of 500 on the GMAT, or GRE scores of 450 verbal and 450 quantitative reasoning. Conditional admission is offered for those with a GPA of less than 2.7.

Herzing College Online Costs:

Tuition generally costs $385 per credit hour, with a $25 application fee. Financial aid is available for members of the military.
