Keiser University eCampus Academics:

Keiser University's eCampus caters to students hoping to quickly parlay their degrees into better positions in the workforce. Nearly two-dozen associate and bachelor's options, plus three graduate degrees, are available online. They're aimed at fields that are often in high demand such as computers, business and health care. While the school bills itself as "Florida's statewide career university" -- it generates an annual $542 million impact on Florida's economy, according to a report -- it's reaching out to more and more distance learners. It has an online career site where students can access job postings, a schedule of job fairs and resume tips. A degree can take as little as 18 to 24 months for an associate and 41 months for a bachelor's, the school says. Assignments, lectures and schedules are posted on the web, and real-time chats are also part of the curriculum. Coursework focuses on real-world application whenever possible.

Keiser University eCampus Accreditation:

Keiser University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Keiser University eCampus Degrees and Programs:

Many of Keiser's career-minded bachelor's degrees have an optional stop at the associate degree level, including accounting, criminal justice, health services administration, homeland security, and information technology. Also offered: a track for registered nurses to complete a bachelor's, and a Spanish-language bachelor's degree in business administration. Master's are awarded in business, criminal justice and education.

Keiser University eCampus Admissions:

Bachelor's and associate degree candidates must provide transcripts proving completion of high school or GED test scores (mailed from the school or test giver), plus either a 1,430 on the SAT or 17 on the ACT. Otherwise, students will need to take an entrance exam. Those seeking a master's degree will be judged on a combination of undergraduate grades, professional accomplishments where applicable, personal endorsements and test scores. Within the first semester of enrollment at Keiser, students must produce letters of recommendation and either a minimum GMAT score of 450, a GRE of 1,350 or MAT score in the 40th percentile. The test score standard may be waived if a candidate completed an undergraduate degree with a 2.7 GPA or has two years of relevant work experience. International students must prove fluency, comparable secondary school or collegiate experience, and solvency to be accepted.

Keiser University eCampus Costs:

The university advises students to contact it directly for the varied tuition amounts. A Coast Guard publication valued a full Keiser scholarship at $50,000, which could theoretically amount to $12,500 a year for four years full-time. Financial aid is available.
