New England College's School of Graduate and Professional Studies requires no standardized-test scores. Must-haves for undergraduates include a "well-written" personal essay, two academic letters of recommendation and a high school transcript or GED certificate. Transfers will need to arrange for the submission of the previous college's transcripts. Undergraduate transfers can carry in a limit of 90 credits from accredited schools. A maximum of six credits are tagged on for graduate programs.

Tuition for the master's programs generally runs in the low- to mid-$400 range per credit hour. The bachelor's per-credit charge is $335. Ninety percent of students receive assistance, the college says. There is a $150 graduation fee.
