The three classes in each track require about 25 to 30 hours each and must all be passed to be awarded the full master's certificate. The first of every month kicks off a new session. The school provides CDs in case a student's Internet connection isn't fast enough to download the presentations. Students have access to virtual office hours with the instructors, plus faculty-mediated chat rooms. Given Tulane's high profile, the experience may also enhance students' networking opportunities, the school points out.
