Who can take online classes?

By Jamie Littlefield, About.com

Question: Who can take online classes?
Answer: Anyone can take classes online. According to the Sloan Consortium, a group of organizations dedicated to the quality of online education, more than 1.6 million students are enrolled in an online school. People choose to learn from home for a number of different reasons. Some enjoy the independence, some are homebound for health reasons, some find it an easier way to balance school and life, and some appreciate the ability to learn at their own pace. What ever your reason is, make sure you thoroughly research your online options before you enroll.
