Who benefits from online high schools?

By Jamie Littlefield, About.com

Question: Who benefits from online high schools?
Answer: Many students benefit from online high schools. Generally, students need to be self-motivated and have good reading comprehension skills since much of the curriculum will be delivered through reading. Students who learn faster or slower than the typical student will benefit from the flexibility of online schools. This is also a good option for students who have difficult schedules (due to acting, illness, etc.) or who tend to move regularly. This is generally a good option for students who learn better independently.
