Drexel Online Academics:
Drexel Online is a subsidiary of Drexel University, a reputable brick-and-mortar college in Pennsylvania. Its virtual programs are aimed primarily at working professionals. Classes consist of online multimedia material, email discussions, chat boards, and chat rooms. Each term is only ten weeks long, designed to help students stay focused and on-track.
Drexel Online Accreditation:
Drexel Online is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, a regional accreditor. Several individual programs are accredited by discipline-specific accrediting agencies.
Drexel Online Degrees and Programs:
There are dozens of degree programs at Drexel University Online. Bachelor of Science degrees can be earned in communications, nursing and health, education, general studies, psychology, and technology. Masters degrees can be earned in fields such as clinical research, business, education, nursing and health, information science, engineering, and education.

Notable graduate programs include Drexel Online’s Master of Business Administration degree (accredited by the AACSB) and Master in Library and Information Science degree (accredited by the ALA). There are also several certificate programs available.
Drexel Online Admissions:
Admissions criteria vary depending on the program selected. Drexel Online’s undergraduate programs are designed for adult students wishing to complete their college education. As such, they require a minimum of 24 completed college credits and a college GPA of 2.5 or above. Drexel Online’s graduate programs tend to be very competitive. Most programs require applicants to submit undergraduate transcripts, exam scores, essays, letters of recommendation, and resumes. Each program sets a minimum standard for GPAs and other qualifiers.
Drexel Online Costs:
Drexel Online’s undergraduate tuition is currently $550 per credit. Total costs depend on the program and the number of credits previously completed. Graduate tuition is $835 for most programs. However, there are some variables. The Anywhere MBA program, for example, charges a total tuition of $54,000. Graduate education students receive a discounted rate of $627 per credit.

Students enrolled in Drexel Online may qualify for federal financial aid or may receive a discount if their employer has partnered with Drexel.

Drexel Online has formed partnerships with over 150 schools, employers, and associations. If you’re a member / employee/ associate of one of their partners, you may be able to discount ten to twenty-five percent of your tuition.
