Not to be confused with North Central University in Minneapolis (owned by the Assemblies of God church), Northcentral University is a regionally accredited for-profit online college with headquarters in Arizona. Northcentral offers bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees – all 100% online. They are known for flexibility in admissions requirements (not asking for standardized test scores) and teaching schedules (no set class times or residencies). Students are assigned faculty mentors who help them through online class material via email, telephone, fax, and regular mail.

There are three schools at Northcentral University - the School of Business and Technology Management, the School of Education, and the School of Psychology. Northcentral University Admissions:
Northcentral University is more lax in its admissions requirements than many other schools. Undergraduate applicants must have a high school diploma, GED, or 60 hours of college credit. Applicants seeking masters or doctoral degrees must have a bachelor’s degree or 120 hours of college-level credit. Students do not need to take standardized tests such as the SAT or GRE. The admissions process is relatively fast and most students will begin their first online course within thirty days of applying.
Northcentral University Costs:
NCU undergraduate tuition is $250 per credit. Students working towards master’s degrees pay either $285 per credit (for the MEd) or $475 per credit (for the MBA or MA in Psychology). Doctoral students are charged $495 per credit.
There are several payment plans available including a pay-by-term plan and a monthly payment plan (with a down payment). Pupils who take out a student loan and pay tuition costs in full at the beginning of their program receive a 10% tuition deduction.
